There is NO NEED TO GO THROUGH A LABORIOUS PROCESS OF BROWZING FREIDA OR ANY OF THE HOSPITAL WEBSITES - don't waste you time and money…just use this list and you are ready to go! Let's take one example - suppose a program requires 1 year US clinical experience with graduation less than 5 years. You were in hurry, you looked at the hospital website (which could be confusing sometimes) in rush or believed in information that you got somewhere on the internet and applied. If you didn't fit in those criteria, it is unlikely that they'd look at your application and you just wasted $$s! Our aim is to guide you to the right direction to increase the possibilities of getting interview calls by hitting the bull's eye.
IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR THIS YEAR - PLEASE READ!
What we have noticed this year is that programs that had minimum USMLE score requirement have raised their minimum score requirements i.e. instead of Step 1 & 2 scores above 80; they are asking for minimum scores of 88 and above.
Also many of them are asking that you pass Step 1 & 2 CK and especially Step 2 CS in the 1st attempt……this is critical folks. You have to know this - we have got it all in this list.

If we were doing this just for the money, we'd have fragmented the list such as separate lists for H1 sponsoring programs, J1 sponsoring programs, old graduates and charged extra money. We are a group of IMG like you and were interested in "typical" FMG favorite disciplines like IM, Peds, FP, and Psych. Some of the popular lists are very expensive, and it may not be a complete list. Our experience is that some of the names may have been missing. Typically lists are categorized into H1 sponsoring programs, J1 sponsoring programs, IMG's graduated for > 5 years etc. and obviously charge more money per list. Go and check out yourself. |

Competition is increasing year over year…
One thing is for sure - it is getting more and more difficult to get residencies. Some of the programs especially IM is getting more and more competitive each year. So be smart and get an edge over other applicants.
